Remakes are rubbish right? Well, there was a time when this was not always the case, when imaginative film makers would bring their own creative vision and enhance what the original film had done many years before. John Carpenter's 1982 remake of Howard Hawks' The Thing from Another World was one such case.

A box-office failure at the time, Carpenter's The Thing is now rightly regarded as one of the best horror films ever made. Intelligent, thought provoking and down right scary, don't miss this opportunity to see this classic remake on the big screen, at the beautiful Genesis cinema in London. One night only!
