Calling all Gooners, just like those old enough to remember where they were when they heard JFK had been shot, every gooner can recall where they were on Friday 26th May 1989, when Michael Thomas clinched the title in what The late (great) Brian Moore described so beautifully as 'The most dramatic finish, maybe in the history of the football league'.

Please come along and join me and a few fellow gooner friends to watch our greatest ever moment replayed at Stratford East Picturehouse (a 5 minute walk from Stratford Station).

Can you think of a better way to unwind just before Christmas than a few nostalgic images of the class of 89, to leave us with a warm fuzzy feeling inside, miles away from the current first teams mixed fortunes. That said the recent 2-0 drubbing of our noisy neighbours was very enjoyable!

I can't wait to see you all there. Best regards, Dennis
