The Good Grief Project are proud to present a special Charity screening of their Documentary, A Love That Never Dies, in partnership with Stroud Film Festival.
A LOVE THAT NEVER DIES is a independently made feature documentary that tells the story, not of lost love, but of love always remembered.
Film makers Jimmy Edmonds and Jane Harris’ son Josh died in 2011 and they now travel across the USA in search of others who have also experienced the death of a child.
They discover that loss and grief can take many forms. Throughout their journey they witness many more personal ways that people have found to move forward after the death of a son or daughter.
“We are very excited about the launch of our documentary and the potential it has to reach a wide audience. Since our son died we have learnt so much - not just about grief but also about trauma and loss in general – sadly his death has given us new insights into what really makes us tick as human beings.”
Jimmy Edmonds and Jane Harris
A Love That Never Dies challenges our perception of how we cope with the death of any loved one.
ABOUT THE GOOD GRIEF PROJECT
Over 6000 young people die in Britain every year, leaving anything up to 50,000 newly bereaved parents and other close family members.
The Good Grief Project aims to be the only UK bereavement charity dedicated to an understanding of grief as an active and creative state of being.
A LOVE THAT NEVER DIES is our starting point. With an interactive website and a constantly evolving programme of workshops, courses and retreats THE GOOD GRIEF PROJECT will provide the bereaved (and the non-bereaved) with the creative, practical and therapeutic tools to help them voice their grief and to better understand and communicate their feelings.
This is a fundraising event for a much needed charity.
If you would like to donate £5 to The Good Grief Project, please enter the code "GGP5" at checkout and £5 will be added to your ticket price, which will go fully and directly to the organisation. Please support us in this work – each and every contribution is hugely appreciated.
Both filmmakers will be present to talk about the film and their on going work and look forward to meeting you.
A LOVE THAT NEVER DIES is a BEYOND GOODBYE MEDIA Production in association with THE GOOD GRIEF PROJECT.
