Celebrate Women's History Month with an F-Rated screening. Not only are F-Rated films smashing the status-quo, they also include some of the finest work around.
The F-Rating is applied to all films, which are directed by women and/or written by women. If the film also has significant women on screen, it receives a Triple F-Rating.
Take American Honey, the film is directed and written by Andrea Arnold and stars Sasha Lane as leading character Star, which makes it a Triple F-Rated Film. The F-rating also brings credits for women fillmakers to the fore, for example Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, which are co-written by Uma Thurman.
F-Rated is an organisation dedicated to supporting women in film and to driving equality in the film industry. They established the rating to allow audiences to “vote with your seat” and proactively choose to go and see F-Rated films.
